The Samaritans Foundation was established in 1984 and is one of the largest regional organisations within Australia stretching across the Hunter, Manning and Central Coast Regions. The organisation's overall mission is to provide unconditional support to disadvantaged people and to promote social and economic policies that promote social inclusion, social justice and the quality of life of individuals, families, groups and general community. The Samaritans Foundation believes that people presently experiencing disadvantage have the right, equally with others, to fully participate in and contribute to community life by promoting acceptance, justice, reconciliation, peace and dignity for all people.
The Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW works to improve the quality of life for people living with mental illness, especially schizophrenia, by:"Initiating and undertaking programs which support consumers, carers and clinicians;"Raising community awareness regarding the implications of schizophrenia in order to reduce stigma;"Advocating on behalf of consumers and carers to state and federal governments; and"Supporting research into schizophrenia.
Sisters Inside Inc. is an independent community organisation, which exists to advocate for the human rights of women in the criminal justice system, and to address gaps in the services available to them. We work alongside women in prison in determining the best way to fulfil these roles.

South Sydney Youth Services is a multi functional youth service offering individual counselling, casework, and a range of educational programs to young people in Redfern/Waterloo and the City of Sydney. We are funded by the Department of Community Services, Department of Health and Ageing, The Attorney General's Department, The Department of Juvenile Justice and the Department of Education and Training.
Southern Community Welfare is a community based, non-profit, harm prevention organisation. Since it's inception in 1995, it has provided professional, innovative therapeutic services to families and individuals. Southern Community Welfare has a particular focus on serving the community in the areas of risk, resilience and early intervention. SCW provides programs that address the areas of suicide prevention, deliberate self-injury, eating disorders, depression, child abuse, loss and grief, family breakdown and parenting skills. We also run various support groups in the areas of support after suicide; divorce and separation recovery and Rock and Water boys social strengthening. It is our commitment to care, equip, empower and offer hope to those in our community who are struggling in these areas.
